I pack fruit, vegetables, and berries for snacks, and/or a small yoghurt, small granola bars, dried fruits. And leftovers for lunch as our daughter loves dinner typed dishes, and dislikes/through up most breads, the textur is not good for her.

I am back from our vacation last week on Saturday night from Aruba..and few days later we went to camping with my family and now that we r back yesterday i did finally clean up our room it was so messy

I don't do sleep overs I don't let my kids sleep over so I wouldn't have kids sleep over at my house.. I stopped doing parties we do trips since we moved away from family...

My kids in high school for birthdays my girls will invite others to a dinner at a restaurant. I’d say 10 girls and we’d pay for appetizers and drinks. Then they invite 2 friends over to stay after. Our boy liked buffets with friends and movie but after 8 th grade no parties or sleepovers with boys.

My husband won tickets on the radio for me to go to a new kids on the block concert in July. My daughter loves to swim so we will spend a lot of time in the pool

My kids are 11 and 8. My daughter is 11 will be 12 on Aug 8th and my son is 8 and will be 9 on July 22nd. Their birthdays are 2 weeks apart from each other. My husband and I have always had separate birthdays parties for them except for one year we did a joint party at the pool for them. Friends of ours say we should just keep doing joint parties since they are close together, but we don't usually do that. We did big birthday parties almost every year for our kids since they were 1, until we realized that it wasn't in the budget to keep up with that. We then started trading off every year one kid got a big party and then the next year the other kid got a big party. We are at the point where we are at a loss of what to do for birthday parties and both kids are wanting something big, but we can't keep doing that every year. I think we might start doing parties like what my husband and I grew up doing and just having family over for dinner and cake and celebrate them that way or maybe having a friend of theirs over with all of that. My daughter wants to do a sleepover and we may do that because she's never had one for her birthday, but we don't know what we will do for my son. For us, my daughter has a couple close friends so she may just do something small with them every year which we would be fine with. Our son has ADHD and struggles having friendships due to lacking proper social interactions with people. He doesn't care about having friends over, he just wants to be around family and have a fun time so we may just see what each year brings for our kids and what seems best for them. Not sure if this long response helps or not.

Hi, Amy, we just got back from vacation we went to Oklahoma it was a mini vacation we took our daughter & grandson with us when we got home yesterday was, we in for a shocker our hot water heater decided to burst so guess what that meant we had water all on our floors we now have to replace some flooring as well as the hot water heater so that is how our summer is going so far but we are not going let it get us down hoping you have a wonderful summer Happy Birthday to your kids hoping you all are having a wonderful fun filled summer keep posting these videos they keep me keep me going take care Amy till next video have a wonderful day & week 😊😊👍👍🎉🎉

great video! I always love coming home from vacation to a clean home so i will definitely be doing a get it all done on saturday before we fly out early sunday morning. as for birthdays, I do not have a party every year. i have a 13(D),11(D) and 9(S) yo and between the three of them....i've had a total of 7 parties. i pick and choose favorite years...or big ones. We celebrated these ages for each kid. oldest daughter was ages: 1, 7, 10 and 13. my middle daughter: 7, 10 and my son: 8 and his next one will be his 10th. We are deep into baby step 6 with DRamsey so my kids know and understand and are very excited to get our home paid off by 2027 so we are temporarily making good decisions where we can. to have this goal and have the kids excited and willing to also help is soo exciting for our family! :) we still go out to eat for every birthday and cake but as far as full on parties, those are selective. tfs!!🙂

It's a little relief when it's an easy pickup around the house😂. We have a 14 year old boy and a 10 year old girl. We usually do a birthday party, we let the kids choose the activity whether it's at the house or some place. IF the want friends to spend the night , they can only choose 2 friends. We did 5 one year and that was chaos 😂. Then we do family dinner with close family. Kids get to pick what the theme is for dinner. I know it may sound a bit much, but I love celebrating birthdays ❤!!
